Nine million girls in sub-saharan Africa will never go to school.

Empower through Education

AGHF exists to bring change by supplying school girls with a free Christian education. By empowering them through education, girls will gain the knowledge and confidence to grow into women who will positively contribute to their communities, nations, and the world.

Our Story

AGHF founder Grace’s life was changed through education. She completed her education in Kenya only because of anonymous donors in the United States. Now we serve to provide education to others like her.

We have partnered with Pastor Joseph Harera who oversee schools in 5 different villages in the South Kivu in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Release International Mission in Kenya. Our partner has identified numerous girls in the villages who are orphans of father and mother. Girls selected as AGHF beneficiaries are 65% orphans of both parents.

The Cost of Education

Education in Africa is not free, from kindergarten to higher education. For one girl to attend school, it costs $350 USD a year. This cost includes a uniform, appropriate supplies (notebooks, pencils, etc.) and the tuition fee.

“This year, we prayerfully desire to support the education of 100 girls in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) for the 2019-2020 school year. You can send one girl to school for a full year education for only $350 USD. A single year of school can change the life of a girl and her family.”
